I spent a lovely day with my girlfriend Ri last Sunday afternoon, at The Depot at Gibson Mill in Concord, North Carolina. It's a really cool antique mall. Their new tag line on their marketing materials is "Best Crap in the South"! Funny, and yet true! It a really neat place. Here's a link to their "about us" page that tells the history of the place:
I found some cool "stuff"...an old scale (I have great plans for it), some old tart tins, and cute little chair (have NO idea what I'm going to do with it, but I liked it), and of course, some more salt shakers.
I posted this photo on my Facebook page last night. Today, a friend on Facebook informs me that the footed salt shaker is Waterford Crystal! Well, she is correct (not that I doubted you Pam)! I should have known. In my "former life" I was the director of Bridal Registry for a department store chain in California. I know Waterford!
So I came home and investigated...
